Passenger Clothing would like to welcome filmmaker and all around camera savant Perry Gershkow to the family. After Perry graduated from U.C. Santa Cruz Film School, he hit the ground running, produced three film festival nominated short films and from that point on, quickly made a name for himself in the action sports and outdoor film world. When Perry's not camped out at the beach catching some morning surf, he's probably eating tacos or drinking coffee and thinking about his next surf trip
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Marin County.
Where you are currently?
Now I'm living in San Francisco.
What inspires you?
Inspiration was derived from my friends and family, who both play a huge role in my life and have supported me since the beginning. Other inspiration comes from friends in the film industry who pushed me to believe I could make a profession out of it if I wanted to.
What's a normal week for you look like?
A general week for me includes about 68 hours of editing a day as well as filming, depending on the week. As well as a surf session at least once a day and a couple hours of taking photos and exploring.
Where's your work been featured?
My work has been featured all over; Surfing Mag, The Surf Channel, Volvo, Fox Surf, GoPro, The Outbound, Outside Television.
Is there are places your would like to explore?
I would like to explore many areas, some include Iceland, Africa, South America, and Indonesia.
What do you enjoy most about your life and passions?
The things I enjoying doing most in my life are hanging out with family and friends, filming, surfing, hiking, camping, backpacking, photography, sharing laughs, a cold beer, fish tacos and road trips.
