Win 'Old Piney', the Legendary Motorhome

This classic '89 Talbot Autosleeper with road trip heritage, a fridge full of beers and a longing to explore could be yours.

Simply share a pic and a few words about an adventure that meant something to you and we’ll pick a winner on Wednesday 25th October.

Meet Old Piney

It’s got character, stories to tell, a nostalgic spirit, personality and a comfy worn-in feel that money can’t buy.

Old Piney is part of Passenger folklore, a trusty steed that’s lived many lives; an office on wheels, a photoshoot location, a party spot, a music studio, a place to rest, a home and veteran escapism enabler.

Here's one from the archives, a shoot we did back in 2019 starring Old Piney:

Picture yourself at the wheel, creaky window rolled down, cassette tape blasting crackly road trip anthems and adventure in the air.

Nothing but good vibes, tall pines, coastlines and open roads ahead…

“Take it slow, embrace the journey - if you want to get there fast, Old Piney isn’t for you..."

You’ll learn to embrace her foibles, imperfections and charm. It’s the workarounds and handy mends that make up the character of Old Piney.

Gears in need of an occasional talking to, a rear window that sings when opened, that cupboard door with a knack. Like an old friend, we wouldn’t change a thing, but we’re excited to know OP will be starting a new chapter of adventures.

We’ll miss Old Piney, that’s for sure. That time we pulled a 12-hour stint across France to reach swell at Hossegor. Hugging the rugged coast of Scotland as wind and rain pelted us but never dampened our spirits. Venturing deep into the wilderness of outback Wales, lost and alone but never more at home.

“Shelter, warmth, a comfy bed, a place to rustle up a meal and dry off salty skin."

When does the competition end?

The competition closes at midnight BST on Sunday 22nd October.

We’ll announce the winner on Wednesday 25th October at 6pm BST on our Instagram Stories so make sure you're following us @passengerclothing.

Can I enter from Europe or the USA?

Yes, you can still enter for a chance to win one of five Escape Kits worth £500 each.

But, the main prize, Old Piney Motorhome, can't be won by anyone outside the United Kingdom. Watch this space for the European and USA versions of this giveaway...

What kind of condition is Old Piney in?

It’s 34 years old, with 91,000 miles on the clock and a lifetime of tales to tell. It’s well-worn, there’s some rust and plenty of things on the fix-up list. It creaks in the mornings and needs to be driven with a bit of care.

It has a full year's MOT, runs smoothly and has heaps of reliable working features. Give it some love, look after it and you’ll be good for another 34 years*.

How do I enter?

Enter your details in the form at the top of this page, and add a pic and some words about an adventure that meant something to you.

The competition closes at midnight on 22nd October and you must be 18+ to enter. T&Cs apply.
