Normally an ultra-light back packer but needed something for short trips and got the festivals, this done the job perfectly as it opens like a suitcase which I can carry on my back. Very comfortable even when fully loaded.

I loved the design of the bag and thought it would be perfect for me as I found the bag in the women’s section and it was a woman modelling the bag. However, the distance between the hip trap and the shoulders is far too big for a smaller person (I am 5”4) and have had to return. I soon realised that if you went through the men’s section, there was a man modelling the bag, if I had known the bag was unisex I would’ve been more apprehensive about the bag not having adjustable straps. No where in the description does it say the bag is unisex.

I'm so sorry to hear the Adventurer backpack wasn't 100% perfect for you on this occasion! The backpack is modelled on both a male and female model and the female model is around 5ft6. Unfortunately, a unisex item won't fit everybody due to different body shapes and sizes but I'll certainly pass on your feedback to the product team regarding your experience with this one.

Recently I vouched to stop buying cheap disposable products, and to start spending slightly more on higher quality products which will last me much much longer, and this backpack is exactly that! In the past I have bought numerous £40-£50 backpacks which last just a handful of trips before the seams rip or the zip gives up... but I have finally said enough is enough... and I am so pleased that I have!!
Firstly, the bag is made out of primarily recycled materials, which is amazing in terms of environmental impact and minimising waste, but also does not lower the quality of the bag what so ever!! You would NEVER know that this bag was made of recycled materials. The quality is superb.
The seam stitching, the seams, the webbing used for the straps, the buckles... Every single part of this bag has clearly been rigorously tested for durability, and it shows. I have zero doubts that I will have this bag for easily 5-10 years, possibly longer.
It is incredibly comfortable to wear, very convenient to load/unload with the full opening 'suitcase-style' front, and empty, weighs very very little.
In a few weeks I am going travelling across Peru, and I needed a bag I could trust to hold up against being thrown in the hold of 8 different planes, and dozens of different busses... and this bag will do exactly that.
