I bought two of these beautiful Sherpa blankets for our new adventures alone the west coast of Ireland. They are really great quality- light but warm and pack down really quite small. Packing them down is a bit tricky but there is a great little video on the website to help you with this.

I loved the Sherpa lined fleece its so cosy! I didn’t realise the patterned side was water-resistant type material. But its not cold or hard so either side is a comfy blanket. I put it under my sleeping bag to act as an extra layer between me and my rollmat and it really worked keeping me warm. I can’t imagine camping without it now although I also feel it would be too difficult to take on backpacking hiking trips due to its size and weight. Packing it back into its bag will take some practice too!

The blanket is so warm and really looks good. We managed to get it back into its bag, eventually. No doubt this process will get quicker with repetition. The video is very helpful but trying to work out how to mirror the instructions while watching wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve done. Just a suggestion but a video taken from above and behind the demonstrator, and at half the speed might be easier to follow.
